Green Collar = CN = Cellulose Nitrate Nalgene Rapid Flow Bottle Filters (Cellulose Nitrate filter membrane) are Triton X®-free and have excellent wetting properties. CN provides fast flow rates for buffers and other aqueous solutions. CN membranes are ideal for filtering and clarifying solutions when protein binding is not a concern.
Sterilized Nalgene Rapid Flow filters are appropriate for biological filtration of microbial growth and testing media or additives, cold temperature sterilization processes, or cleanup of particulated solutions or buffer solutions. For laboratory use only. Not for use in parenteral preparations.
